A Slice of Fried Gold

Kid Cudi + Ratatat + MGMT = Gold Mine

Thursday, March 11, 2010

Today a new video for the Kid Cudi track "Pursuit of Happiness" that features Ratatat and MGMT was released, and it's a fairly entertaining one. However, I really enjoy the song and love the fact a hip hop star is finally using Ratatat to create beats finally. It's been a long time coming, and it's unsurprising that my boy from How To Make It In America was the one to do it. Check it out above.

That's an awesome song -- I'll have to check Kid Cudi out (even if you had already commented how great he was). As you state, anyone cool enough to use Ratatat is worth listening to.

I actually haven't listened to a lot of his stuff. I just like his character in the sneaky underrated HBO show "How to Make It in America". It's like Entourage...if I cared.

Katie and I just watched the first 4 episodes of that show. We are really enjoying it.
